WHAT IS PINE CREEK SPORTING CLUB?

Pine Creek Sporting Club is an exclusive, members-only champion wing and clay shooting club nestled on a pristine Florida landscape of natural woodlands, fields, waterways and trails in Okeechobee, Florida.

WHAT OWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

Membership is available through the purchase of a Ranch or Cabin. There are twenty-seven ranch sites ranging from a minimum of 40 acres to 52 acres. We also offer twenty-three Lakeside Cabins, situated around a 5-acre lake in the southwest corner of the property, and twenty Hammock Cabin sites.

WHAT FAMILY ORIENTED ACTIVIES ARE THERE AT PINE CREEK?

There are a variety of fun and adventurous activities for children, including swimming, horseback riding, kayaking, fishing, bike riding, multi-purpose field games (soccer, lacrosse, football, baseball, kickball, frisbee), archery, table tennis, horseshoes, bocce, buggie rides, rope swing, pro-beach volleyball, as well as shooting instructions and demonstrations. A nature center is conveniently situated adjacent to the members lodge library, and an outdoor playground is shaded in the Live Oak hammock.

IS MY MEMBERSHIP AT PINE CREEK INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE OF MY RANCH SITE OR CABIN?

Each ranch or cabin purchase includes one membership for a husband and wife and their family. Both ranch and cabin owners benefit from a vertically integrated membership to include parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren for an ongoing family legacy. An unmarried member may designate a "significant other" once annually.

WHO ARE THE FOUNDING MEMBERS?

The founding members of Pine Creek Sporting Club are Stephen E. Myers, Stephen Myers, Jr., Jack W. Nicklaus, Nick Price, Tucker Frederickson and John Reynolds. The founding members will have limited club privileges and have been asked to serve on an advisory committee to the club.

WHO COMPOSES THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE?

The Membership Committee includes Stephen E. Myers, Stephen E. Myers, Jr., Tucker Frederickson, John Reynolds, and Tim Williams.

WHO WILL OWN AND OPERATE THE CLUB?

Upon the completion of the club facilities and a significant percentage of real estate sales ownership and control will be transfered to the HOA. 

WHO ARE THE DEVELOPERS?

Pine Creek Sporting Club LLC, whose principal owners are Stephen E. Myers and Stephen Myers Jr., are the sole developer of Pine Creek Sporting Club. Myers Sr., a pioneer in the cable television industry, is an avid hunter and fly fisherman. He is the owner of the world famous Silver Hilton Steelhead Lodge located in Northern British Columbia. He is a substantial landowner in Florida and wanted to create an exclusive sporting club for the privileged and discerning outdoorsmen that share the same passion for the outdoors.

WHAT TYPE OF FIREARMS WILL BE PERMITTED?

Shotguns up to .12 gauge (bird shot and buck shot only), and bow hunting is encouraged. Rifle and pistol target shooting will only be permissible on the target range.

WHAT TYPE OF PRIVILEGES WILL MEMBERS HAVE AT AFFILIATED CLUBS?

The Affiliated program is actual membership at each club.

WHERE IS PINE CREEK LOCATED?

The Club is located on Florida Highway 68 & U.S. 441, 20 miles west of the Orange Avenue (SR 68) I-95 exit in Fort Pierce. It is approximately 15 minutes to downtown Okeechobee, 30 minutes to Fort Pierce, less than an hour to Vero Beach and just over an hour from Palm Beach or Orlando. For those arriving by air, the Okeechobee airport has a 5000ft., paved runway and is a short 15-minute drive to Pine Creek. Additionally, a helicopter pad will be located on-site. Members will have exclusive charter use of Pine Creek's Bell 407 Helicopter.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From I-95: Exit Orange Avenue, CR 68 (westbound) Exit 131B, proceed approximately 23 miles to NE 48th Avenue (Hilolo Road), turn right (north), go 1/2 mile to the Club entrance on the left.

From Florida's Turnpike: Exit Ft. Pierce, SR 70. After leaving the toll booth, proceed 2 miles straight ahead on King's Highway, SR 713. Turn left at the Orange Avenue CR 68 traffic light for 23 miles to NE 48th Avenue (Hilolo Road). Turn right (north) on 48th Avenue, go 1/2 mile to the Club entrance on the left.
